Research Focus
My research is centered on the development of intelligent agricultural decision-support systems that combine data-driven and knowledge-driven approaches. The data-driven component employs computer vision and deep learning models, particularly YOLOv8-based object detection, for assessing melon maturity and plant health conditions. The knowledge-driven component uses ontology, semantic web technologies, RDF, SPARQL, and knowledge graph reasoning to represent agricultural knowledge and support context-aware recommendations.
This research direction aims to bridge deep learning-based visual perception with ontology-based reasoning to support precision agriculture, especially in melon cultivation, harvest recommendation, and sustainable agricultural decision-making.

Research Vision
To develop reliable, explainable, and intelligent smart agriculture systems by integrating computer vision, deep learning, IoT sensing, and semantic knowledge representation. The long-term research vision is to support farmers, researchers, and agricultural stakeholders through decision-support systems that are not only accurate in detection but also capable of providing interpretable recommendations based on structured domain knowledge.
